A parking dispute resulted in tragedy yesterday in New York City. A man involved in the dispute was enraged to the point of stabbing two people in the chest, and then driving into a group of pedestrians on the sidewalk in Queens. 1 person was killed, and 5 others, including the two who were stabbed, were hospitalized and are now in stable condition. While no charges have been filed yet, the driver is now in custody.

In lighter news the Golden Eagles returned home from Delaware Valley on Saturday with a victory. The Golden Eagles initially held a lead, until DelVal scored 21 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to tie the score at 28-28. With 2 seconds left in the game, senior kicker Brett Renzi scored a field goal propelling them into the final 4 for the first time in program history. Brockport will now travel to Belton, Texas next weekend to face defending champion and No. 1 ranked Mary Hardin-Baylor University in the National Semifinals.
